On March 26, 2026 marked a historic moment for the KDES Athletics After School Program and the Maryland School for the Deaf–Frederick, as our middle school boys volleyball team competed in a hard-fought match.

KDES showed strong effort and growth throughout the match, continuing to build momentum in the development of middle school boys volleyball.

Following the match, both teams came together for a group photo to recognize the significance of the moment and the continued growth of the sport at the middle school level.
